On April 24, 1991, Ms. Boren purchased between 1,000 and 15,000 dollars worth of stock in Central and South West Corp.
On the same day (April 24, 1991), a bill was introduced in the Senate that would interest Central and South West Corp. The bill was S. 922: AMENDMENT, INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986...To amend the Internal Revenue Code to exclude from gross income the value of any subsidy provided by a public utility to a customer for the purchase or installation of energy conservation measures (Referred to the Senate Finance Committee).
